Why does EDL matter?
The Qualcomm Emergency Download mode, sometimes referred to as Qualcomm EDL mode or Qualcomm HS-USB QD-Loader 9008, is a capability included into the boot ROM of a Qualcomm system on a chip that can be used to repair bricked devices.

You may quickly unlock FRP, remove MDM Lost Mode (Device Lock, No Downloads Mode, No Recovery), and remove FRP directly through EDL 9008 Mode by using the EDL Test Point.
It’s likely that your Android device, which has a Qualcomm CPU, supports Emergency Download Mode, or EDL Mode. EDL mode is a Qualcomm-enabled function that can be used to unlock the bootloader, fix protected device parameters, or unbrick devices. It isn’t supported by all Qualcomm-based gadgets, though.
Your device may become bricked or enter a boot loop condition if the bootloader hasn’t been unlocked yet. As a result, you will be forced to use the Test Point approach on purpose in this circumstance. Since the device is bricked or boot looped, it would be difficult to unlock the boot loader.
